Ingegneria tissutale per la rigenerazione di tessuti ischemici (miocardio, arti inferiori) mediante matrici naturali e sintetiche e cellule staminali;
Biologia delle cellule progenitrici endoteliali umane: effetto di fattori di rischio cardiovascolari e farmaci su numero, funzione cellulare e meccanismi molecolari di trasduzione; Monitoraggio del numero delle cellule progenitrici endoteliali e della funzione endoteliale in pazienti con rischio cardiovascolare, diabete, malattie rare
Studio dei mediatori coinvolti nei disturbi neurologi conseguenti a terapia sclerosante.
